Overview

Welcome! This portfolio will serve as a reflection of the competencies acquired as a student in the Learning, Design, and Technology Master’s program.

Goals: To gain employment as a curriculum and instructional designer or curriculum specialist in K-12 or higher education.

Throughout my studies I plan to achieve this through analysis of instructional design systems, design practice, evaluation of various models… *there should and is definitely more here but I am struggling with how to best list this – I think this will become more fluid as I continue in our courses and the program*

Presently, I am a secondary science teacher at Cabarrus Virtual Academy, and lead our K-12 science department. My current and previous positions as a teacher and current role as a developer of various virtual courses has led me to want to further my learning and evolution in this field.
